May I listen to your story... May I capture your heart?
My name is Jen Mininger and I am so grateful that you are here!  If your like me, then you believe that true beauty lies within us all, but that beauty is not always easy or natural to access. So, maybe as you get to know me here and begin to trust me, then together we can get you and your loves at ease and let that true beauty shine!  I hope you enjoy what you see, and most importantly, I hope that you discover encouragement, hope and inspiration here.

We all start in a safe place.  A womb of protection.  God intended for us to know safety. He desires that feeling for us because we find it in Him.  "The Lord is our strong tower, the righteous run into and they are safe".
At some point, we experienced something that made us long to feel safe once again.  Safe from harm.  Safe from others' choices.  Safe from loss, disappointment and heartache.  Safe from others' choices.  Same from our own choices.
And, while I don't believe that we are longing for a life that lacks adventure and abundance, I  think the hard parts of life have caused us to shrink back.  BUT, hopefully, only for a time.  A season.
In our desire for hope, healing and freedom, we sometimes need a safe space.  May you find it here.

It ached to hear the harsh words that she knew could be her own, yet it felt so safe and reassuring to know that God sees her and wants her to have new lyrics in her own heart.

Acknowledging the dark as well as the light feels so honest and helpful in these moments. Although, I will warn, that it can also feel raw and not always easy, YET it is a kindness to ourselves when we start with honesty, isn't it? It is both, difficult and kind.
